The rain has arrived
It has begun raining in Cairo. Heavily.
This is the first rain in Cairo in at least 6 months, probably more. Its a significant occasion.
Something incredibly cute - I can hear little kids in the street singing an Arabic song along the same tune as "rain rain go away, come again another day". Its the little things that are so cool about living somewhere as weird as Egypt.
Hows the weather looking in other parts of the world?

Rainy season in Singapore dude... but looking on the bright side this is still the warmest November I've had yet. It's still nicer here now than it was in Detroit in July.

Dull and rainy weather for over a week now, and it doesn't look like its gonna stop. Mind you Austin is reknowned for its gorgeous weather; I've never seen it rain like this (intermittently every few hours) for this long in the last couple of years. Almost as bad as London weather :)

I remember my first rain in Cairo - after 5+ months of sun, it has "rained" in Maadi for 5min, maybe few more. Although I heard that at the same time other parts of city were flooded. That's the result of being in a city with no rain-adapted sewage system
Meanwhiles south India is really sunny and having amazing sunsets

It's 1 degree and snowing in Bratislava...I never thought I'd be going home to Ireland for warmer weather!
