Do a Traineeship with a Company Developing Blogging Software
This is my first post on nomadlife, so I just want to say hello and introduce myself. I'm Adelle, an AIESEC Alum from Georgia Tech currently on an 8 month traineeship with MindValley. I wanted to tap into my network of AIESECers to let you know about an amazing opportunity to work in Malaysia's capital, Kuala Lumpur. Please read below.
MindValley Labs, a Internet Company based in Silicon Valley and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is looking for up to 3 trainees to fill various positions immediately and over the summer/fall semesters. We've been interviewing locals here in Malaysia, but we prefer to bring more AIESECers on board.
I've been on my traineeship for 2 months now, you can read about my experiences living and working abroad in KL at http://adelle.nomadlife.org/

Specific Traineeships:
Accounting Exec/Customer Service
PS - Our company is founded by former AIESEC members who have worked for large Silicon Valley firms like eBay and Microsoft. We're small business, but growing very rapidly and really need to fill available positions, preferably with AIESEC trainees. TN's start as soon as possible, and we match fairly quickly. But if you're really interested for a later date, just apply and we'll save your resume for a later review.
If you have any questions, you can email me at mailto:adelle@mindvalley.com

I will deeply regret if Nomadlife becomes a matching blog.

I second that. Invitations to conferences are already teetering on the edge, but traineeship postings I think should be limited to personal blogs and not the 'public' nomadlife page.
Sounds like a great opportunity, but...

(me stepping up on the soap box, with long hair and white robes and an old walking staff)
nomadone is an open access weblog so it is a shared space. If you ask it, you can have posting rights to nomadone. And this is the most liberal policy on group blog posting you can have on the Internet.
With that, we hope for a diverse set of postings.
So from times to time you will see ads or invitation to conferences because we are indeed in mixed company.
The only way for us to manage so this arrangement doesn't suck and turn to become a mono voice (like becoming a matching blog or AIESEC only weblog) is to give immediate feedback through comments or emails and increase the volume of postings.
For the poster, just keep in mind that this is a shared space so use space sparingly. The community is very generous in general in allowing people to post about anything they care about but off course they will let you know if they are unhappy with your posting :)
Thank you, have a good day.

One thing that may help is to clarify the objective.
If the company is looking FOR TRAINEES ONLY, well, it's obvious who to go to.
However, if the job opening 1)is appropriate for the nomadlife constituency and/or 2)cannot be fulfilled by the current AIESEC SN pool - that's a different story.
It would be nice if there was a short 2 sentence post that links to a more detailed job description. I say that from a point of view from an ex-trainee, alumni, and a currently unemployed bum.
Networking is wonderful.
