If you want to keep it PC (and keep the gov off your back), then you can delete entire entries (goto: New Entry --> Edit post) and re-do the whole thing.
Too bad... I love reading your entries.

chris, never tried this myself and I haven't really checked if it works:
in the blogger settings, set your publishing settings to publish the blog to a blogspot.com-address, publish it (i think this would delete it from the nomadlife-server as well, if not ask dody to do this) and then just don't give that address to anyone. also, in your profile settings, you can set which of your blogs are visible on your profile page.
of course, this doesn't delete google search results and the google cache immediately, but this should happen automatically after some time.

Unless you have written something incriminating or dangerous, why wouldnt you want anybody to see your blog? If its parents, relatives etc, I don't thjink they would be too shocked - and employers wouldnt exactly look down on someone publishing a personal website....
