if anyone's interested, bob geldorf and co's new book "our common interest" (about the developed world's responsibility to africa) is worth a read.
many of the goals are lofty, but the arguement raises some great points...

as an economist would say...there is no possible argument that can counter this IMF claim. We use facts, we don't sensationalize and though we acknowledge the political factor, we don't don't let it blur our perspective.
