Don't be reasonable
It is gratifying to see the instant donation for Sofia in the past 24 hours.
We could do more, faster. We are nowhere near seeing the full potential of AIESEC network in responding.
Don't stand on the sideline and offer sympathy. Get involved. Be annoying, be pushy, be demanding. Be aggressive. Be a wolf (and not a lamb). Expect more. Raise more. Ask for more people to participate in helping. Demand it.
We need to raise more money, faster.
We are not dealing with some abstract impersonal concept here. Sofia, a trainee doing the work of AIESEC continents away from her origin, is very ill and have a long battle ahead of her. Sympathy alone is not sufficient. She needs the money to recovery.
We cannot change the world if we cannot take care of our own.
Let's not settle for this mediocrity. Let's hit that 10K mark hard and fast.

That's right Dody, we need ACTION! The donations while appreciated they are not enough we still need MORE. It's time to demonstrate our values and demonstrate the real power of our Network, It's time to do what we preach and we have now an opportunity (obligation i'd say)to directly save/change someone's life, aren't we all here for similar reasons?
We're still working in getting more information, mean while, donate please!
Thanks

There is a difference between being a critic and a participant. If all 500 nomadlifers gave $25 that equals $12.5K raised.
Many hands make light work; it's time to make a difference somewhere you can. Don't hesitate to do the right thing.

That's a snag to that. There is yet an efficient and low cost and global money transfer mechanism.
Bank transfer is too expensive.
Western Union is expensive for low amount transfer.
PayPal is not available to many countries.
If people can donate 5 dollars or 10 dollars easily, we can raise money really easily.
There is no easy way yet. The person that can enable this low cost and reliable money transfer, will save thousands of life.

If you fit the profile Dody just described and want to give but are unable to due to Paypal not being available in your country, talk to me.
You can also pay directly with credit card by following the link; I didn't even need a Paypal account to contribute.
