We have very hopeful news! We were able to communicate with Sofia's family, and they informed us her condition has improved enough to travel to Mexico City. Due to her progression, her doctor has extended the time she is allowed to fly, so she's expectedto arrive Monday night in Mexico city. She's going to be in the Nutrition Hospital. Right nowthe family was able to buy 2 tickets (she and her mom) to take her to Mexico City (Accra-London-Mexico City) with the money they raised (before buying the tickets it was 51,000 dollars).However it won't be until Tuesday (After medical check ups and examinations) when they know the exact amount of money they will be needing to cover all the expenses mainly for hospitalization, surgery (if needed, transportation from the airport to the hospital, medicines,treatment. etc). Because of this We still need to keep the fundraising. Thank you very much for your support. We will be informing more news about her condition and the costs needed when available.

Find out the total costs of this operation including the cost of transports of her parents to Ghana.
With the insurance coverage and donation from Aiesec network, we might be able to cover the majority of the total costs incurred in this episode.
