Whoa, this is rather scary...! But I can follow in a way. With all the interruptions, you never get a real work flow, do you? Same for studying...:-s

That article has some mistakes in it...the study mentioned in the article had only 8 subjects and the conclusions in the article were not supported by the data.

That said, I'm sure distractions don't *help* when you're trying to get something done.

oh gosh is it true. I was in Kenya this summer, and, helped by the remoteness, I felt my brain sparkling so shiny and sharp for a whole summer. Now I'm back in the Internet email world and feel it filing my brain back to a manageably dull level.
having said that, i'm glad anonymous pointed out this study seems to be bullshit.
