- The Nordic countries really dominate this ranking and kick everybody's butt.
- Japan is out of top 10.
- UAE and Qatar are in top 20.
- Latin America is represented by Chile at 23.
- Israel is 27.
- Tunisia is more competitive than Egypt (40 vs 53)
- South Africa is surfing at 42.
- Italy is dolcevita-ing at 47.
- China and India share Curry Dumplings at 49 and 50.
- Brazil party with Turkey at 65 and 66 respectively.
- Russia drinks a bit too much Vodka than Indonesia, putting it one rank below at 75.
- The 4 year old East Timor is one rank higher than Zimbabwe at 108.
- Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Syria and Lebanon are missing from the list.

And its Australia, into the top 10 with a bullet, climbing 4 places!!
And if you want to correct this list to factor in important extra criteria like
a) Having a decent climate and great beaches
and
b) Having your own personal space bigger than a 6 x 4 metre apartment
Then Australia would be in a good struggle for number 1 position :)

El Salvador is number 4 in Latin America!!!
Only Chile, Uruguay and Mexico come first!
That is a big hit for tiny little Central america!

Hurray for Egypt in the top 55 !!
it's interesting how botswana outranks Egypt! The preceptions here are different.
If you look at the changes Egypt has the Third most positive growth along with Ghana and Serbia and Montenegro and Poland from 04-05 after Korea and tansania.
The Domenican Republic, Sri Lanka and Morocco have whitnessed the biggest drop.
