New York Transit Strike...Its Official!!
Imagine a city where 7 million people rely on public transit to get to and from work. It is the week before christmas, there are millions of extra tourists in the city for holiday shopping, it is 24 Degress Farenheit (-4 Celsius) .... and THE SUBWAY AND BUS STOP RUNNING. Sound like complete chaos?? Well, tomorrow morning at rush hour we will all get to see just how chaotic it will be.
It is official...NYC Transit is on STRIKE!!
I guess this is a lesson that we all should have bought gas-guzzling SUVs a long time ago and not relied stupidly on "public transport" to get us around.
Of course they have a "Contingency Plan" but its a total joke. Bottom line is a few million New Yorkers are either going to freeze to death or miss work tomorrow. So remind me...this is suppossed to negatively effect the Metropolitan Transportation Authority HOW? BAH HUMBUG to all you stupid MTA employees who seriously messed with my holiday shopping plans!!
