Sustainability Dilemma for ABN AMRO

Whale protest highlights a sustainability dilemma in front of ABN AMRO global HQ; a World Environment Centre award winning bank and global partner of AIESEC International. Will they stay sustainable or lead the financing for the construction of a $12 billion gas facility off Russia'?s Far East coast- and home the world's last 120 Western Pacific Grey Whales. Blogged from the inside by AI alumni Brenda and myself.

So is it a dilema? Think about it!
If they would walk the talk, there wouldn't even be a discussion about whether or not to finance it. People wouldn't even have to be upset with ABN Amro. ABN Amro would have said no since the very first moment.
I say this is just another proof that most of the 'sustainability' coming from companies is nothing else than 'tranquilizer talk' la 'let the public think we are nice' but in the end they are a bank and don't have much else in concern than money and the 'public opinion'
