Networks - Advice on Business Schools
Does anyone know anyone that goes to London Business School?
I'm narrowing down my business schools, and of course, looking for one that's very international and focused on CSR. Advice?

The best London universities are LSE & UCL.
Nottingham and Bath uni's have the best and most specialised CSR.
The best places to find info about UK universities are the Times newspaper (online, it does league tables of universities by subject) and the UCAS website, which has a searchable course directory.

I wonder if London Business School is a good school to migrate to UK, Im aware that it has a great level, but if Im a non-eu citizen, would be easy for me to find sponsorship to work in the UK. Thats why Im actually thinking of studying in Canada, even though schools are not that good...
Could somebody tell me if is it worth to go to LBS?

Not sure how specific you want to be on CSR, but I'm applying to the MBA in CSR program that the University of Nottingham Offers through the Nottingham Business School (note: not Nottingham-Trent B). It's the only program of it's kind in the world along with Queen's U in the Canada.
LSE's programs that come close to that are more focused on applied social sciences. They offer over 20 programs that tie in to the overall concept, with a strong emphasis on social policy, econ policy and population studies.
Other schools with great CSR focus: Cranfield, Oxford Said, Warwick and Cambridge's program for industry and ESADE in Barcelona.
Though a great and even more pratical way to get in CSR (as recomended by my mentor at the IBLF) is to do an MBA in business strategy in emerging markets...one of the best non-US, 12 months, don't-require-paying-loans-for-the-rest-of-your-life: University of Edinburgh
good luck.

Mel,
Amit Sood chose INSEAD after getting accepted to LBS, so he might be able to give you insight into LBS.
I'm assuming you have looked at the rankings to some extent.
Are you looking for a European school? A UK school?
If you want to work in Europe after you graduate, it definitely makes sense to go with a Euroschool or one with a campus in Europe. If you want to work in the UK, it makes sense to choose a UK school.
If you could say more about what you are looking for, that makes things easier. Wasn't sure if the anonymous comments were from you or not. Because the comment about Canadian schools made me think that wasn't you.

Yeah anonymous isn't me.
And it took me a minute to figure out who "M" was ;) How do I get in contact with Amit?
Not sure where I want to live/work afterwards... just want to make sure I'm not "stuck" in the US if I go to a US school. Not necessarily UK, more Euro.

You should look at http://www.beyondgreypinstripes.org/ they do regular studies on integration of CSR in MBA schools.
