The article doesn't specify what kind of tea. I've read that Green Tea (which is less oxydized during processing) is supposed to be healthier than Black Tea for example.

Another caveat, sponsorship sometimes just means that they provided materials (i.e. the tea) for the study, not necessarily funding or "direction."
