Scientists claim zero-point energy...
Has anyone seen the full page ad in this months economist from a company claiming to have developed a device that is more than 100% energy efficient? They are challenging to world scientific community to test their technology - given that it breaks one of the fundamental laws of physics and our core undertsanding of the how the universe works, obviously there is much room for scepticism. ....
My pessimistic guess is that this is some hoax campaign as part of some "energy awareness" initiative or something similar. My optimistic hope is that this could be an interesting time to be alive.....

Either someone is a lot of money and time to put out a full page hoax in the Economist..
OR, they're about to get ROIs on this ad in the hundred billions....
