AIESEC History
Tonight during what will go down as one of the LONGest global legislations in history will also go down in the record books. You remember that 1492 powerpoint we all saw when we first joined? with the dark music, ww2 aftermath...
Well it can now be officially updated because in 2007...
AIESEC IS PREVALENT IN OVER 100 COUNTRIES/TERRITORIES
and the countries that made this happen, and are now official expansions, are....
Uzbekistan
Alegeria
JORDAN! (100!)
Vietnam
Rwanda
Gabon...
Legislation is STILL ON!
And it is being reported LIVE on the Pakistan MC Blog,
Cheers goto Emad and Nida for keeping us all in the loop!

i have a doubt about the longest legislation, as everyone who's been to a few ICs and IPMs would have stories from long legislations to tell. i remember an 8-hour straight in IC Canada (2002), which was continued on another day, and a very similar one in IPM Malta (2002).
But the good news is that IT IS going to be the longest roll call ! ! ! 100 countries...congratulations guys, this is great stuff!

shall we refer this year as the year of AIESEC's world invasion?

Dimitris is completely right...
First longest Global Legislation:
IC2002 Calgary - 15 hours (split in 2 days)
Second longest Global Legislation:
IPM2002 Malta - 12 hours (all in a row)
We closed Global Legislation by approving AIESEC in Mainland China and toasting with the Chinese delegation while watching the sunrise.
