ORBO - brand name of the free energy technology
In August 2006, there has been the first mention of Steorn and its free energy technology. Now finally some more changes appeared on their website. The new energy has a brand name Orbo. The validation process is underway right now done by independent scientists and results are expected around October 2007. It looks cool! :o)

Hah! Finally some action on the website, I was wondering when they would move on from the Panel Selection Phase.
For those of you who are not familiar, look for the interview on Youtube ("Steorn CNN"), I cant access youtube at work!
Irrespective of whether they succeed in their endeavor to test and license free energy technology, it is one of the greatest questions of our times : "What will a World with free & clean energy be like?"

Tom commented on the first Steorn post that this would be an interesting time to be alive. Ironically, that is a curse you give to enemies in China.
A world with clean free energy basically turns today's geo-politics on its head. OPEC politics, China and India's hunt for more energy, the power equation between Russia and its neighbours, the U.S.'s entire motivation for a 'stable, democratic' mid-East....
Having said that, in the long run, it can't be all that bad.
Anyone remembers the movie Chain Reaction with Keanu Reaves? I'm surprised no one has tried to knock these guys off already! :)

Pierre, exactly my words. I was really afraid that even if the Steorn energy proves to be what they claim, someone might try to get rid of them or simply pay them huge money to forget about it.
That is why I think their idea of the add in Economist was great cause they ensured lots of publicity beforehand.
