Hmm..."australia will walk away with it"..this is easily the most open world cup ever with no clear favourite.
I'm with Chitgo...Aussies may well bite the dust...but my guess is if they make it into the knockout stage, they'll be hard to stop.

South Africa seem very strong to me and this year I think the Kiwis are going to spring a surprise or two.

(no pun intended here)numerically speaking, any sport that is widely watched(and it most certainly is) by India already becomes one of the most watched:)...
I DONT get cricket at all...but at least its more of a real sport than golf:)...PLUS Kenya will be in it and last time the boys put up quite a show so I will most certainly be on the look out for them...Goooo Kenya!

Agree with Abs..its a super open World Cup this time around...

Would def. love to see Kenya spring a surprise on either England or NZ and def kick Canada's (stick to ice hockey, dudes!) ass in the group stages...and hopefully take the scalp off a big team in the Super 8..

No one should assume the Aussie's are weaker due to their recent blip in form..that would be suicidal..

But all said and done, I think this is gonna be one electrifying Cricket WC..

abhi, SA dont stand a chance against the tougher sub continent teams..not enough fire power in their batting and no spin attack. the varying pitches of WI will not support them....

go INDIA!..the most complete team there's been for some time...god damnit im going to enjoy this.
