Creation Museum
The US has it's official "Creation Museum" now. $27 million dollars spent on a musem presenting "scientific proof" of the Creation of planet Earth in 6 days about 6000 years ago.
The sad thing is that it will lead to a lot of people actually believing this as being the truth - after all it's presented in a "museum".
Here's their official website.
A lot of newspapers covered their recent opening quite critical.
Here's wikipedia on it.

The link below has some pictures of the exhibits

I visited the Kennedy Space Center in winter and I was thoroughly disappointed. NASA has so many successes and things to talk about but their presentation was absolutely shitty. I would have learnt more if I had just switched on Discovery Channel at home, rather than stand in line to watch a 1980's exhibit.
And on the other end, we have this Creationism Museum. No science, but loads of money and hence amazing exhibits. The dinosaur exhibits at this Museum look better than the ones at Disney!!! I am almost ashamed to say, but the kid in me will make me visit this museum just to get pictures with the dinosaurs.
Setting up such a museum was a smart move for the Creationists. I can see people with a weak background in science get confused, and with all the evidence backing evolution actually think evolution is non-sense. Sad!
