Male belly dancing, anyone?
Blogger Deborah Ann Dilley has commented Reuters? report on it on Arabisto.com. And Wikipedia (our beloved resource for information) says that there is such thing as male belly dancing in history.

theres some very well known male belly dancers in Egypt. And a lot of belly dancing instructors are male...

Hehe, that's in Egypt ! And still quite rare. But it's not the case in the rest of North African countries !
Anyway : no one likes to see belly dancing performed by a....man :))

I saw one of the most amazing male belly dancers in Turkey. He's by far the best belly dancer I've ever seen.
