"fascist" should be a particularly strong insult for a Spanish head of state, since Spain actually did have a fascist government until the late '70s. it seems chavez just wanted to pick a fight (and came up with a good pretext for it), but the spaniards would have been wiser to brush it off or respond in a way that addressed chavez's issue of the ambassador visit
What do I think? I think it was hilarious. I also think about time someone responded to the comments that idiot Chavez is always making. A kick in the nuts would've been nicer, but "shut up" will do for now. Shit, I think this answer will be traced and if I ever want to go to Venezuela I won't be allowed because I hve expressed a desire to physically hurt the presidential gonads.
Oh dear oh dear, that Chavez, he does have a great way of drawing attention to himself doesn't he?
It seems whenever he's in a room all that anyone can do is descend to throwing stupid insults at each other.
Before RCTV was forced to close, this seemed to me to be pretty much what political comment on TV consisted of: each side insulting the other, back and forth.
His strategy certainly seems to be: try and enrage people then you won't have a coherent opposition. The sad thing is it seems to work.
