All we do against religions

Portrait on a Amish family.

"The various Amish (pronounced /ˈɑːmɪʃ/) or Amish Mennonite church fellowships are Christian religious denominations that form a very traditional subgrouping of Mennonite churches. They are best known for their simple living, plain dress and resistance to the adoption of many modern conveniences. " (wikipedia)

A lot of public discourse now involves religion in "This is against _______" (insert a religion) against certain policies, etc.

One appropriate answer for this is "Dude, that's what we do". Pick any day and make a long list of things you violated from the tenet of your religion. Some of them mostly repeats too. Every day, billions of people are violating some tenets of their faith, through their acts, speech, thoughts, etc - some worse than the others - but nonetheless against their own oath.

So it is instructive to balance the reality of public policy with stern demands of religious morality.
