wash them well, cut them into bite size pieces, bread them, deep fry for just one minute. serve with lime, salt and beer

a more attractive presentation for a large party would be to cut off the tentacles, which are diced, then stuffed into the washed body cavity with bread crumbs, parsley, onion and parmesan cheese. then it is gently simmered in tomato sauce.
